Somewhere in the sky tonight,
another fire flickers on.
Feel belonging in that light
out there in the Great Beyond.

We’re not alone.
We are not alone.
Not alone.

Though we’ve never touched at all,
bits and pieces still remain.
Though I’m gone, if you should fall,
I’ll feel tremors just the same.

We’re not alone.
We are not alone.

In waves across the universe,
ripples in the stream of time.
Waves across the universe,
echoes of a distant mind.

In a sense of understanding,
etched into a stretch of sand,
washed away on streams of some divide.
Images appear at random,
glimpse into the other side,
hesitation in the path behind,
in waves.

(Instrumental break)

Somewhere in the sky tonight,
another fire flickers on.
Feel belonging in that light
out there in the Great Beyond.

In waves across the universe . . . .
